I am an interdisciplinary research scientist, specialize in equitable energy transitions, focusing on the intersections of energy systems, global supply chains and environmental justice. I currently work at Boston University Gobal Development Policy Center.
My current research examines the global impacts of clean energy investment, with a focus on how international capital flows, such as Chinese foreign direct investment, shape emissions trajectories and economic development in emerging economies. I bring previous experience of developing models and datasets on city- and community-level emission inventories and emissions embedded in international and domestic supply chains, to address carbon inequality, urban sustainability, and explores opportunities for renewable energy in a just low-carbon transition to support effective and equitable climate policies.
I served as co-chair of the Environmentally-Extended Input-Output (EEIO) section in the International Society of Industrial Ecology (ISIE) from 2023 to 2025. I serve on the Editorial Board for journals, including STOTEN and Carbon Footprints and Carbon Management.
Previously, I worked at UC Berkeley working with Prof. Daniel Kammen, with an affiliation at the CoolClimate Network. I worked at Data-Driven EnviroLab and interned at AGCI and WWF. I obtained my Ph.D. in Geographical Sciences in 2022 from the University of Maryland, College Park.
